Slider hitch lube/oil question, and groves appearing.

What do you use to lube the slider wheels? Mine has been sitting outside for sometime and does not roll back and forth that easily now.

Also the rails are starting to get groves on the both sides, from the upper part of the hitch, where the wheels are mounted. I can post some photos of it later today. I have a Husky slider. How concerned should I be?

Use white lithium grease to lube the hitch and rails. It is non-staining. I don't have the Husky and can not address the grove issue. Lube both the top and the sides of the rails. You should be able to move the unit by hand without a load on it.
