I do quite a bit of extended towing with my '99 F-250 SD/PSD. When I bought it used, it came with a set of four nearly new Spector Advanta AT radials at each corner. The problem is that each of these tires have two to three noticeable wrinkles/creases across the plane of the sidewall (perpendicular to the rim, and running from the bead to the tread). I don't like the look of these creases/wrinkles, but I have towed my enclosed trailer for more that 500 miles without incident.

But the creases still bother me. Should I be concerned, or is this normal. I should point out that the tires are properly inflated, and I notice the creases whether I have a load on the hitch, or the truck is dry (I hope that's the right term to use). If this is not normal, I'd rather replace the tires with something I can have faith in.

I've seen it, common on various types of tires. Tire people have said when asked, "it's a seam and nothing to worry about."
