I wonder how my truck would look with a flatbad? I could definitely haul my LQ horse trailer level without having to make any suspension modifications.
FWIW, I already asked my wife about doing this. (She gets to drive the truck as a daily driver) She said something about looking too redneck. I told her that there ain't no such thing as being too redneck.

Granted this isn't on a SuperDuty, but still a Ford. My uncle had this built for his 1979 F-100 a few years ago. I think it'd look better on a 3/4 or 1 ton. But still better then a standard steel flatbed. Even with all aluminum construction, it was still a bit heavy for the F-100. He added some helper springs to straighten things out. I'm trying to convince him to get an old F-350 to swap the bed on to. Then at least it'd be useful.
