tow command system on a 03

Does anyone know if the tow command system can be added to an 03 F250. I want to add a brake controller and have heard the tow command works well but I'm not sure if it is worth the cost or how hard it is to install.

if i can't go with the tow command I guess it would be between the brake smart or max brake. Which would be the better of these?

The Tow Command system won't work with the computer system in an '03.

I have no experience with either the Brake Smart or Max Brake.
