Turbo & Injector info

I have a 2002 F-350 Auto with a H2E Turbo and Stock injectors fuel system, I know running my 120 horse banks chip unloaded I run between 600 and 900 normal driving and if I throttle hard on it and run it from 0 to 100 I get a hair over 1200 on my EGT my sensor is mounted on my exhaust manifold so that temp is strait out of the moter. I have a adjustable chip for towing I have not used yet or towed with this set up yet I am pulling a 38 Foot Fifth wheel, unloaded its 12k loaded its 17k. I am wondering if any of you are running injectors and towing with them? I want to keep my EGTs low when towing and I am looking for advice from someone actually running these instead of trying to sell me some.

Thanks,
Michael

Re: Turbo & Injector info

What are these? Do you have a specific type of aftermarket injector that you would like to know about? There is no way you are going to put an larger injector in that motor and not experience higher EGT's

Lots of folks on here running aftermarket injectors and towing daily with no problem. Just depends on the intended purpose of the injector is.

Alot of your lower EGT's have to do with the H2E, that you have.

I have a set of injectors and a chip. I can run it pretty hot, easily in excess of 1200 degrees when pulling our 28ft 5er on long hills. You learn to watch the pyrometer. You may be able to get away, staying in the throttle longer and harder with the H2E? I would assume so.

Your truck is equiped with split shot injectors. There's only a few companies out there, that truely know what they are doing with those injectors. I'd would talk to them all; and make a educated decisions. I would ask, do they have a flow bench? What type of service do they provide(tech, moral support, install, etc)?
I hope this helps, and good luck with your injectors. Carl
