Re: upgrade brakes for dexter axle

No upgrade available. What you need is what you get. Why are you looking for an "upgrade" anyways? Are they wearing too fast? Not stopping fast enough?

Re: upgrade brakes for dexter axle

I alway look to make things better. I am due to replace the linings and the drums so if there was a better option I would do it. Keeping in mind I have limited funds of course

Re: upgrade brakes for dexter axle

Try etrailer.com they have the brake parts and such. You might call them and see if you can put larger brakes on your axles. On my previous rv I found you could buy the complete brake assy. less drum for about $50 and the shoes alone were $26. If you can upgrade to larger brakes now is the time.
Let us know what you find!

Re: upgrade brakes for dexter axle

Why don't you go to dexteraxle.com and email them thru their link there and ask them if you can upgrade to the next side larger (or whatever).

Make sure you tell them the size of the axles you have now, 6000,7000,7200lb, etc.
