Mine was 5250 FA and 3950 RA. I had probably 250lbs of junk (chains, binders, clothes, cd's. My front tank was about 3/4 full and my rear tank was empty (60 gal.) So with full fuel I'm pushing almost 10 grand!
Mine ways 7230 with a half tank and me and nothing else, rides like a truck. Normal load, tool box with normal stuff, me and a half a tank 8500 rides quite a bit smoother.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
I think it is more the options that comes with the King Ranch and the truck frame, engine weight etc. They just pack it in. My truck weighs around 7500 lbs with me, couple hundred pounds of tools, aluminum ladder rack, plow subframe, and half a tank of fuel. If I ever bought another SRW truck it would be an F350 no question.

Me (170) and a bed full of broken up concrete weighed in at 10200 with truck in sig. I was a bit over but the truck sure didnt care.
Now that's a load, bet you were squatting a bit. That's what I have found, the body might not like it but the motor just flat ass doesn't care. If you ask, it will move.

It was the first and only time the back has ever sat slightly lower than the front. It came with the camper package which includes overload springs.

I also have overloads, two wheels on each side, I was concerned when I was going to pick up two pallets of sod. After I saw how it handled that load, if it will fit in the bed, load it up, I aint' skeered.
