Mark. I'm trying to figure out in my head how much these bars would help but can't since i have never used them. What conditions in the truck do you not notice now that you did before? I have a 20' x 7' enclosed 7k trailer. I've towed it behind both my duallys for a long time. My 07 doesn't even feel that its there. I must be missing something on how these units work. Also, your dump trailer... You using them there??? I'm buying a 12k trailer and I'm just wondering.
For the weight distribution bars the biggest thing you notice at first is it raise the rear of truck/tongue of the trailer right off the start. Driving you dont experience as rock in the trailer if you it a pot hole. But the sway bar is great specially when it windy and you are cruising at highway speeds. The trailer wont sway on you.
I dont have it set up on dump trailer since there it would frabrication for the snap-up brackets to me mounted. The reason the box on tongue is out to the frame rails and that where the brackets are to be mounted. But at least if you want you could add the sway control bar.
