I recently upgraded the reciever on my 2000 F-350 SRW to a newer Ford 2.5" 15,000 lbs. capacity reciever. I was able to get the reducer sleeve to allow my other 2" ball mounts to work. I am having trouble finding a 2.5" ball mount with at least 12,000 lbs. carrying capacity at a decent price. Does anyone know of some good sources besides the usual...seems not too many companies are offering much for these newer recievers.

Your phrase "at a decent price" makes me suspicious you're wanting something cheap. A ball mount that can handle 1,300 pounds of hitch weight and 13,000 pounds of gross trailer weight won't be cheap.
With 3" or 5" drop you can get one for $47. With 7.75" drop they cost more = $63.
Note the list prices, which is probably what you'll have to pay from a local hitch dealer. You'd save the freight cost but probably have to pay sales tax.

Not necessarily.
There are lots of hitch places around Houston that are Reese dealers. Let your fingers do the walking until you find one that has it in stock. Or if worse comes to worse, have your favorite Reese hitch dealer order one for you.
Go to || REESE PRODUCTS || and put your zip code in the dealer search window. L'il Bro lives in far west Houston, just north of SugarLand. With his zip code I get these hits:

I have called most till I am blue in the face...and all do not stock, so not only do you pay tax...but you also get to pay shipping. Looking at out of state purchasing now since most do not stock.
Looked like a hot day up in that part of the woods today...I keep up with it from time to time as the wife grew up in Midland/Odessa and we both went to school at Texas Tech (many years ago). My first room mate was from Midland (his dad owned Union Oil Field Supply) and now lives in Oklahoma.
