Would You Buy A Pullrite Again?

Wife and I are looking down the road a bit to buy a larger tag along trailer to make more room for grandchildren. Need a tag along for ease of climbing entry due to wife's health condition.

For those who own or have owned a Pullrite hitch, would you buy one again or spend the extra money for a Hensley Arrow hitch? Thanks in advance for your input.

Well, I never owned a Pull-Rite but I was the Vice President of Hensley Mfg. for ten years before licensing the next generation of that design from Jim Hensley. Jim no longer has anything to do with the company that was named after him.

The Pull-Rite, Arrow and the 3P all provide a forward pivot point that shortens the lever arm between the rear axle and the hitch ball. The Pull-Rite physically moves the pivot point forward while the Arrow and the 3P virtually project it forward. In fact that is where the name 3P came from, Pivot Point Projection.

I know, not really what you asked, but I didn't want you to think you were being ignored...

Do a thread search on both Hensley Arrow and Pullrite. Lots of dicussion on both. Sounds like both are good, quality products. I've heard that the price on the Hensley Arrows has come down a bit recently.

You're welcome TooCoolTwo!

In my post above the letters P and R (which I used for Pull-Rite) were somehow magically turned into the words Page Ranking so the one sentence does not make any sense.

It should read...

The Pull-Rite physically moves the pivot point...

Yes, I see that now. Thanks. However, if you read it when you're not logged in it isn't there. So, I go up top and log-in and then come back down to post the reply because I figured the forum has user edits turned off. I should have looked at the post again instead of assuming. I use vBulletin for my own MyRVTalk forum so the bit of knowledge about user edits locked my brain from seeing.
