3406 CAT peec conversion

What is required to convert a 3406B with PEEC engine controls back to a manual controlled injection pump?
Is there a kit available?

Re: 3406 CAT peec conversion

I knew a technical trainer that tried to do the reverse process, mechanical over to PEEC some years back. He was using the parts resources available through that dealership (Finning), and he couldn't get it to run proper. Everytime he went to spark it up for another test, all the mechanics in the (large) shop ran for cover. It must have reincarnated from a previous life in a locomotive, as the smoke show was incredible!
Not quite sure of your reasoning, but I would venture to agree with Fred that it wouldn't be cost effective.
