Anything About 2000 Chevy 6.5 Turbo

I just brought a 2000 Chevy 2500 6.5 turbo diesel with 244,000 miles new inj. pump at 225,000. Got a service engine light. i pulled the code(P0236 turbo charger boost sensor A Circuit Range/performance) other then that Runs good just need to know any info and things to look for. Thanks

With engine idling check for vacuum at the turbo wastegate actuator. If none, check for vacuum at the orange hose at the wastegate solenoid. If ok there, grab the solenoid- it should be cycling and you should feel it vibrating. If not, try wiggling the solenoid harness and see if you can get intermittent vacuum. If you can, replace the pins in the harness connector (available from GM) If still no vacuum, replace the solenoid.
