<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: arisley</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Sounds like a good dependable working motor, goes anywhere does anything as long as you are not in a hurry, it's a mule. </div></div>..........6.6L's=401 cid,we had one in a 1990 TW10 ford tractor,it had 110 hp,the TW 20 model had a turbo,hp was 135,the TW30model was turboed and intercooled,had 163hp,Rock solid power plant's never ever had any issue's with them,had over 12000 hr's total on the 3 of them and took vary little fuel, our's at the 110 hp lever used just under "2 gal's an hr" pulling a 18 foot disk with a 20 foot drag behind the disk @ 5 mph or a 5 bottom X 18" plow,that's 90 inche's of dirt X 10 inche's deep being moved@4 mph ,at that time ford had a 3cyl 52 hp @201 cid in the 4600 model and it used UNDER a gal per hr,it had over 5300 hr's when we sold the farm ,4cyl 70 hp @256 cid,and 6 cyl motor 110 hp @401 cid's,they used the same bore and stroke, piston's and rod's in all of them,our's had a CAV inline inj pump on the 6 cyl and 4 cyl,the 3cyl had a sime's rotery pump,fwiw,back then ford did build bullet proof diesel motor's IN HOUSE!!!!,never overhauled any of them,only thing we replaced was the waterpump's on the 6cyl&3cyl,the 4 cyl was never touched@just under3700 hr's,LOVED ALL MY FORD DIESEL'S I had, including my 2002 7.3 that I have now.
