Dang it. Prices here always seem to "lag" slower then the rest. Reg gas is just under $4 and diesel is $4.50ish..... hope for it to go down before labor day.

A gal my wife works with has a sister who works for a national fuel distribution company. According to her, the reason #2 has been so expensive is because they still had a ton of LSD left in their storage tanks and were unable to get rid of it quickly, leaving very little storage for ULSD. She said that by next year they will have enough storage capability for ULSD and prices will go back down to the $2 range.

I'll believe it, when I see it.

Meanwhile, #2 is $4.37 at Wally World.

What? You can buy diesel at Wally World?! Man, I wish they'd put station here.... especially if it's that cheap! No fuel stations at the Wally Worlds here....

Heck, all my stuff here can run LSD. The 'newest' diesel I have is a 1990 7.3L IDI..... rest are 70's and 80's era diesels. You would think that they'd be able to cut a deal w/ off road equipment people (w/ older equipment) to use up the LSD supply.......
