Your power stroke is in a 8,000 Lb. pickup. The DT will be in a 15,000Lb. MDT. not to mention the almost double frontal area.
The MDT will have to work much harder to get to and maintain highway speeds. if you have ever driven an MDT you will know what I'm talking about.
How much do you have your PSD floored to get to and keep moving? In a MDT it can often be over 75% of the time spent driving. its not making the HP its keeping the motor together while using it.
