I bought a donor truck. 163,000kilometers. only ever had synthetic.
When I decided to do this conversion it was suggested that I set the engine back about 3" in order to allow room for the clutch fan, but I didn't want to mess with my drivetrain geometry so I decided to leave it forward and use electrics. Because of this choice I will have to have a custom rad built for the summer heat, but one set of electrics will be sufficent for this winter.
I have never seen an engine so clean internally in my life. I cannot wait to fire this engine up.
My dad just gave me a 12 valve out of one of his work trucks that was wrecked. I plan on getting her in as the funds allow.
