information on Detroit 6v92 350 hp

Hello ,
Just joined this forum,I live in England UK.I am looking at buying a 1991 Beaver Marquis RV that has this engine fitted Detroit 6v92 350 hp
it has covered approx 95,000 miles. Is there plenty of life left in this ?.
Mileage isnt a problem for me as long as maintenence has been regular. In the uk I run a Volvo FM 380hp semi with 650,00 miles on it.
So my question are.
Is this a good engine for an "A class" RV
Are these engines reliable
Are parts easy to obtain
if there have been problems what are they
I presume because of the age this wont be an "ECU engine"

what would you regard as a high mileage for this engine.

many thanks
Steve Burrows

2 cycle parts are getting scarce. DDA has quit making the new engines but there are lots out there. New parts are getting harder to find. If the coach has been maintained well then 500K is good. Seen some with more. If it has been sitting for a while the seals between the head and the block will rust and cause the oil pan to have coolant in it. The engine must be used at least every week or have the engine run at fast idle for 30 minutes to keep the coolant up and flowing. Replace the coolant every 3 years or test the coolant and ass additives as necessary. Oil is to be a straight 40 in summer and a 30 wt in winter.

It is said if you sit by the river and watch the water flow by long enough, your enemies will pass by. This I believe to be true. It is also possible to watch your loved ones pass by as well.
