International DT466E trouble codes.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but could not find anything more fitting.
I am the general manager an wholesale ice cream company, and we have a few International trucks doing our deliveries. I am having a problem with one of the, that my mechanic has been reluctant to address, and was wandering if some of you guys had some suggestions.
The truck is an International 2004-2006, Model 4300, Engine DT466E with an Allison MD transmission. The rated HP is 245.
The DTCs are:

1. DTC: 222, SPN: 247, FMI: 2 Break Switch Circuit Fault;
2. DTC: 353, SPN: 27, FMI: 5 VGT Over Duty Cycle;

After I got the DTCs from ServiceMaxx I was able to find some info on the 222 from the ISIS software. I could not find nothing on the 353 one.

I cleared the codes several times, but they keep coming back and are listed as Inactive. The yellow engine light is flashing occasionally when the truck is on the highway and over 55 MPH.

Any suggestions that you guys would be able to make in terms of what might be wrong and potential test/troubleshooting procedures would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

You have ServiceMaxx and ISIS, and you're asking for help here? The descipitions are pretty self explanatory. Fix the brake switch issue and most likely your turbo is stuck. Depending on the part number, you may want to replace it rather than clean it.

on ISIS if you go to 466/570 EGR you will see 353

DTC 353 - VGT control over duty cycle

DTC 353 is set when the ECM overcompensates by increasing duty cycle to the VGT to achieve desired boost/back pressure.

90% of the time either the linkage is binding or the vanes in the turbo are seizing up. with key off you should be able to move linkage and let go and it should back bounce to the normal position, if it passes bounce test you have elec problems and you will need to check circuits to acutator. if you cannot move linkage International offers rebuild kits for most of those year turbos.
