Price of 500 PPM sulfur diesel?

Hi friends....

Can anybody help me with the price of 500 PPM sulfur diesel? I am looking for the market price for the diesel for USA and EU countries.

Does anybody know the average market price for it if bought directly from the diesel manufacturer?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Roofeditor...

Thanks for the links but I could not find the prices for 500 PPM sulfur diesel. Is it difficult to get this type of high sulfur diesel in the USA or EU countries?

I know that the ULSD is the standard now so this type of high sulfur is difficult to find.

Well, if anyone else knows what are the price for this grade of diesel, it will be most appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure that you'll be able to get this stuff at all. You might be better off looking for No. 2 fuel oil--the same stuff, really, and in some places (like here) it still has the higher sulphur levels. Here, right now, that's going for $4.15 a gallon.

Hi Steelehc...

Thanks for the help but the price is quite high. I think the price for 500PPM sulfur diesel is much lower.

The 500 PPM sulfur diesel is also known as off-spec diesel if it is of any help. I believe there should be available off-spec diesel in the USA, I just need to know a rough price if purchased by bulk from a manufacturer.

Thanks again!

flowerfish: off-spec diesel is not redily available in the US. Its difficult to get you a price because we can't run that kind of diesel in our vehicles. It must be ULSD with 15PPM of sulfur or less. In NC you can get fined for having any more than 15 PPM of sulfur.

That might be high where you're from, but here, it's spot on, and it is indeed 500ppm sulphur.

Out of curiousity, what do you need this info for?

Henry

Hi Henry....

We would like to blend the off-spec diesel with our organic additives to produce "low-emission diesel". We would like to introduce our fuel to the US market, one which cuts NOx, PM and all other GHGs without any retrofitting or change of engine parts. Truckers are feeling the heat with the latest mandates, requiring them to spend 10K-20K on retrofitting their engines to cut NOx and soot.

The fuel will be a direct substitute of ULSD.

Off-specs diesel should be cheapest, blending it with our technology can do wonders to the base fuel.

If you are interested to know about our low-emission diesel, click on the link and check it out.

Cheers!

Looks like demand is down a million and a half barrels from last year. Hmm. Put that together with uk using 20% less petrol and i r confuzed about prices still being high.
