yeah it doesnt harm anything, its just dyed red. Ive run it a few times in my truck, people say it harms the injectors but i run additive with every tank and havent noticed anything different. Though if you get caught with it in your tank i think its a pretty big fine.
Dipped in AZ for $10k ? Is that similar to getting screwed in Las Vegas for $300 ?

Either way you might pick up something you will carry the rest of your life! Get caught with red oil in your truck that's tagged for on-road use and you'll be labeled a tax cheat in addition to the nut-busting fines. You might find yourself the subject of more frequent audits by state and federal tax authorities.
I'd rather risk it in Vegas, frankly. Have a nice day.

the "red diesel" "off road fuel" "farm fuel" "home heating oil" or what ever you want to call it is better for your engine then the current on road diesel since its 500ppm sulfur vs the 15 ppm on road diesel
in the prosses of eleminating the sulfur it reduces the amount of lubricants in the diesel thats why the fuel stations are suppost to put in an additive when they get a shipment

It all depends on where your distributor is getting their off road fuel from. The majority of it out West is 15 ppm.

soem are going to ulsred fuel, and others still have high sulfur red, but either way az must be more leinient on the red fuel, i was told here in fla it is $1,000 per gallon and you cant move your truck until you pay dot to come pump every gallon out of your truck, and they track how many gallons of fuel are in the truck as they pump it out. they will then fine you accordingly, and i believe one gallon of red will turn the whole tank red. think about that, 38 gallons= $38,000. might as well let them have the truck and buy a new one. my truck does run better on it though, and i believe you can apply to pay the taxes on the red, but you would need to keep that paperwork in the glove box so old smokey DOT man doesn't fine you anyway.

Supposidly only one check point for red fuel in all of florida though.
Might Only Be One Check Point, But Theres About 3 Dot Partol Cars That Work The Area Around Me, And They Can Stop And "dip" You At Any Point, But It Is Unlikely.

from what i hear they dont dip the tank but actually swab the area around where you put the nozzle for residue of the red dye
and even when all on road/off road diesel are ulsd they will still dye the off road fuel red and it will still be cheeper and you will still get a fine because it is not a government taxed fuel
