tire question

i just bought a 99 f350 crew cab 4x4 powerstroke diesel dually, what are the biggest tires i can run? and what causes cupping in the tread bad shocks? thanks steve

The more info you put about your truck the easier it will be for members to help you. How many miles? What, if any, repairs have been done? How does it drive? Pull to the left or right? Wander all over the road? Brakes work OK?

Several things or combination of things can cause the tires to "cup":
incorrect alignment/toe-in
yes,worn shocks
worn ball joints
worn hubs
tires themselves, incorrect pressure
and others?
