Warning..Flying J still doesn't have a clue

Second summer on the road with a 2008 F350. Flying J...out in the mid west and Rockies is still pushing both Low sulphur and ultra low sulphur. But jiust to help ypu out..they fail to label the pumps consistently. So if you pull in and forget to check...guess what.

I asked that question at several Flying J plazas that I have been at and was told each time I asked the question that the LSD is only available at the BIG Truck fuel islands and only at designated pumps. The island usually has a banner over the pump slots that have ULSD and the remainder are LSD. The Car and RV pumps are ULSD only.

On the FlyingJ diesel pricing page there are 186 fuel stops with ULSD and 101 with both ULSD and LSD. None are listed with just LSD available.

Moderator superdutyjohn went to one and there was a line backed up at the "car" lanes so he went to the "RV" lanes and pumped up with LSD in his 08 once and was upset lated for the lack of obvious markings. I don't think only tank is going to spoil the DPF!

Flying J deisel

.....and another reason to stick with my 2001 7.3 liter pickum-up truck.

Those of you old enough to remember when stations had both leaded and unleaded gas will smile at this...

What is this "LEADED" gas you talk of???? There was no such thing.

My 'personal' cut off for diesels would be 2005, before this regeneration stuff (or maybe even older so 'any' type of diesel would work- in a pinch of coarse....)
