I haven't seen it, but until the first Texas wildcatter successfully drills a hydrogen well, it seems pretty silly to build vehicles to run on a fuel that doesn't exist.

- 4.1:1 final drive converted to 3.4:1. Quieter, better mileage but it's a good thing I live in the flat Midwest.

Hydrogen is a complete waste of time. Fact is, if you look at any liquid fuel you have to buy at a fueling station you realize the big picture... fuel is liquid CRACK and we're all addicts.

Hydrogen is a very lossy system. It's expensive to make. So what if they make hydrogen vehicles if it's $10/gal to buy the damn fuel.

My brother-in-law's AC Propulsion eBox uses 1/6 the fuel cost of a VW Golf TDI. It'd cost me $180/month to drive a TDI to work. $450 for a Hummer H2 (you have to really be nuts to drive one of those). eBox costs less than $30. Sure, it's an experimental vehicle more or less and quite expensive. But the point is, the thing works, has enough range for 90% of people out there, does 95mph, 0-60mph in less than 7secs, smokes the tires. What more do you want??? If one of the big 3 would get their act together they could build a good 100% plug-in electric car for less than $30,000.

I'm waiting!?! Until then I'll keep driving my 09' Jetta TDI... sweet ride BTW.
