92 Sonoma Gt Transmission Question

I have a 92 sonoma GT with the HO 4.3 and 700R4 transmission. Here's the low down. At first the lock up torque converter solenoid was messing up and causing the truck to stall when coming to a stop. I dropped the pan, changed the solenoid, filter and gasket. Filled it with fluid and it drove alright for a while. Then one day it woulnd't shift out of first. I replaced the governer. I also checked the TV cable and it is adjusted properly. Now it will shift from first to second beautifully then when it is supposed to shift from second to third it shifts back into second. Weird. I was wondering if anybody could help me figure this out. I belong to the S10Forums but they must be tards because they can't help me on anything I ever ask them. HELP!!!
