Auto A/C Suppliers
I'm going to be repairing/replacing the A/C on a family member's vehicle, a 93 Ford Aerostar. I generally only buy OEM or better parts on anything I'm working on, and have already bought a new Visteon compressor (Ford's supplier) and rented the necessary tools from Auto Zone. The van was converted to R134a several years ago by a shop that had previously replaced the system.
However, I still need to get an accumulator/drier and the suction hoses with mufflers. From what I've been told the accumulator isn't available from Ford/ Motorcraft anymore, and I haven't been able to find one made by Visteon. I was curious what other brands out there were comparible to OEM?
Thanks,
K.N.
