Boilers and Gasification

I'm around boilers on a regular basis and have detailed knowledge of their construction, operation etc. However there seems to be a sway in the industry toward this little critter in the solid fuel world called gasification. I would really like to learn the engineering principles behind this as its seems to be the next big thing in the industry and opens endless possibilities.

Thanks in advance,

G71
