I second that. Try to make a habit of running your battery down very low, and then using a wall charger to recharge it. The slower the charge the longer the battery will last I feel. I'd be careful using an inverter with a wall charger. Cheap inverters create a modified sine wave which can harm certain electronics. See link for explanation. West Marine eCatalog 2007 - page 388
