Daytime Running Lights on 07 379

For my fellow canadians, I have the DRL's on my 07 379...I have been looking for the easy way to cancel them but have found none

on 05 or less you used to take the fuse off and they would be history...but on the 06+ they seem to have put some thought on giving us hell to cancel them...u may not take the relay out or you will lose all signal lights...and there doesn't seem to be a fuse, so it MUST be plugged with another system, again, to keep us from canceling them!

I've worked a lot on IH's and there was an "air activated electrical switch" behind the speedometer, activated by the yellow parking brake knob, that u could just unplug and the switch(and system) would never know to turn the DRL's on....anyone know if there is such a thing on a Pete? i've really looked all over and almost tore appart the whole frikkin truck and cannot find a way! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

They are programmed into the Turnstalk and Can module for the dash and headlights. You will have to go to a Pete dealership and have them plug into the Tk with the ESA software. They should be able to disable this feature. That is the only way it can be properly turned off.Once you connect to the Modules with the laptop You will be able to acess the parameters and settings. You may still be in warranty and also have them check for the latest flash update for the dash. There have been issues with gauges and other things that software updates take care of.

I think you just got as good and complete an answer as you will get, but you might want to try the heavy duty forums on www.***************.com
