Fishing in Puerto Rico

I just got offered a free trip to Puerto Rico over the Christmas Holiday by the company my BIL works for to keep him company for a week as my sister can't make it.
He has been down there on business for a few months and can't leave as the project is in the start-up phase.
It looks like they have a lot of different species to fish for from Tarpon/Bonefish to Bill Fish.
Anyone been there and have some insight as what to expect?
I am leaving on the 25th and returning on the 1st.

Re: Fishing in Puerto Rico

Good Luck I hope you enjoy it. I know the fishing coming into San Juan was pretty good. All the ships would dump their trash before coming into port. The fish were pretty thick. We would slow down enough coming in we could drop a few lines in the water. As far as other fishing I am sure it is good but I can't give you any information on it.
