honda horn

I bought a 2002 f350 diesel and the horn on this thing sounds like a little honda or some other small car. Is this normal, if so it has got to go, this is a to big of truck for a horn like that.

I did a stop at a boat shop and bought one of the boat horns that kinda looks like the stock one, put it behind the grill and then with the rack that I have on the van put a pair of elect horns... now there is a total of three or four, depending on how one counts the pair.. some day I am going to have to make a vid with sound of the horns...

f350 powerstroke horn

Can someone tell me where the horn is on a 2002 f350 powerstroke? Mine has goned completely out from honking up cattle and I cannot find it or figure out how to get to it if I did find it. I think it is in the front on the passenger side behind the grill but I cannot see it.

Thanks.

On my 2001 F250 it is mounted on the front passenger side fender. I found the mounting screw by accident inside the engine bay near the passenger battery and had to remove the wheel well covering to get to the horn itself. What a pain!!!

I had the same problem so I went to the auto parts store and bought a wolo 'badboy'...big mistake. It sounds like a honda but twice as loud "teet teet". Anyone else know of a decent horn that doesnt require air power?

If there was the room for the air tank and the train horns, I would take on a set from a person that I know that works with the AK rail........

There is just some thing about the couple up from FL or some other place that has never seen a Moose or Bear and stops in the middle of the only highway we have around here to look and making one go from 65 to 10 in 5 truck lengths....... or pulls out in front with about the same distance and takes 1 mile to get up to speed............

The more Horn the better..... I wish to let them know that they did some thing that they should not have done.... and turn them white..... and you know in their pants.....

I wouldn't mind having a bit more horn sound, but those guys are awfully proud of their kits:
"List Price: $2,400.00
Price: $1,449.99"

Too rich for my blood.

My train horns were just about $750.00 Yeah a little rich for some, but they were my retirement gift to myself. Last week while coming home from the parts store with a friend, we went down a road with a little train moving some cars around the cannery. He honked at me and I honked back. I think it suprised him cause he honked twice, I did it back then we did it three times and I was around the corner.
