One of Ford's supposedly better ideas, they were not designed to be checked/added/maintained by the public apparently. Those are filled and checked through the drain plug in the transmission. IIRC, there should be a small plug in the pan. If you pull the plug and fluid just barely drips out, it is full. There is an adapter that will thread in there and used with a pump, fluid is forced up into the pan, then when the adapter is removed, any excess fluid dumps out and brings the fluid to the proper level, then reinstall the plug.
