Remote surveilance camera needed.
I am president of a landowners association that has a locked gate at its entrance. We have one or more persons that continues to "play games" with the gate and lock that I would like to identify. The most recent tomfoolery was to steal the key belonging to the fire department and sheriff's department from a high quality lock box. This puts all the owners inside the gate without fire protection. Not a trivial tomfoolery. I am looking for a surveillance camera similar to a game camera but a little more sophisticated. Basically game cameras operate over too short a range and would surely disappear in short order. I need a camera that can be hidden some distance away with a remote trigger device that can be mounted near the gate. A telephoto lens would probably be required. All would have to be battery powered. I'm looking for suggestions on a camera that will do my job.
