Sirius Radio & Premium Amp

I hope I'm in the right thread. 2009 f250 Lariat with premium sound and sirius satellite radio option. My question is, where is the Sirius radio located. Most times it's located in the car trunk, but in this case there is no trunk and I can't find it under the dash. Also, my premium radio sounds like a cheap tin can with full base and treble. Is there a separate sub amp that adds to the sound? My dealer says it's ok, but my previous 2003 f250 with premium sound had a much better sounding radio. Any comments will be appreciated.

My 08 lived under the dash, to the left of the steering wheel. I removed it when someone wanted it, a bit of a pain

I've also seen the units under either the driver's seat or the passenger seat, if there is room. With regards to the radio sound, is it possible you're radio internal amp is blown, or one channel is grounding out? Have you listened to other 2009 F250 Lariats to compare the sound? Maybe you should take it to another dealer?

Thanks for the comments. I still haven't found the Sirius. My dealer tells me that there is no separate amp, its all in the radio. Also he tells me that all radios in Ford trucks start with the base Premium sound radio and go up from there. Also, he told me that there is no subwoofer in my truck (hadn't thought about that), but a subwoofer could be added behind the back seat on the driver's side - Ford sells one. I wish I knew how to pull the radio and see if there is another box behind it.

On the same topic, does anyone know what is the output wattage (rms preferrably) of the late model ford premium sound system?
