Trying to re-attach the rubber trim strip that runs down the side of my car, I guess it's called the door bumper. Is there an adhesive that would work well for this? I have emblem adhesive, might that work?
Thanks,
-Rob

3M makes double sided automotive trim tape. I picked up a roll at AutoZone to reattach the door trim on my F150. The tape that I bought was the exact color, thickness and width as the stuff that was on the trim from the factory.

That sounds much easier than glue, just what I needed to know, thanks.

What you want is 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive. Comes in a red tube. You'd be hard pressed to find any mechanic who doesn't have a tube of it in his toolbox for holding gaskets, etc, in place. It holds so well, in the trade it's known as Yellow Death or Gorilla Snot. It's made just for what you want to do.
