Don't ue a lot of force or you'll be buying a new windshield. I believe the center of the seal has a pressed in bead. Look for the seam where the two ends of the bead come together. then using a flat screwdriver, lift it out. Make note of where the ends are in relation to the window. After that I believe the winsheild seal will collapse into the the glass for removal. When you go to re-install it, use a long piece of cord in the outside "well" of the seal. then as you pull the cord it will pull the seal past the body seam. Then just press the center bead back in and the seal is locked in.

oh im not changing the seal too much time im just putting the black gunk in there but thanks anyway
its only 2 spots i think and theyre small leaks in the right driving wind

If you get the center bead out, it will allow you to manipulate the windshield seal so that you can put the goop in where you need to. The glass won't fall out.
