100.00 deduct - Diesel Forum

Does Ford still charge the 100.00 deduct for the 6.4 ? Mine is in the shop right now for a scrubbing sound coming from under the hood on the passanger side sounds like my air box blasting air back and forth. It happens at 31-3200 rmp on the down hill or up hill. No check engine light nothing , has anyone heard of this ?

Update on truck Just got a call form the service writer. Seem they were test driving my truck to make the noise happen then all of the sudden the truck died in the middle of the road. What the #@#$ ! What could cause this the tech said it could be fuel pump ? Is that covered?

i was at the dealer to get oil change and i told service adviser my oil level was high. 100 deductible to look at it. i have 36 and some change on truck. i thought powertrain covered it but just told him i would keep an eye and get back to them.
i think the deductible can be an arguing point and they will drop it. ive read on other sites that they just say that so you are not inclined to being er in for something insignificant and waste their time...
