1st oil change mileage?
What mileage is everyone doing their first oil change at? and what brand of oil?

Meant to do mine at 5k for the first time and ended up at 6.2 at the dealer due to a trip.

First oil change at about 5K, Second at about 10K, next one due at 20K ---- Just like the book says!
Currently have about 11,900 on the truck.

I did my first on at 5,000 miles and did an O/A which stated there was high numbers of silicone in the oil, most likely from casting. If I had it to do over, I'd change at 1,000 miles.

I change every 3-4K.

First at 5,000 and every 5 there after. As far as brand goes, just meet the CJ-4 spec and you will be fine.

My first change was at 3,000. And its in the shop now at 5,300 gonna have them change it while there.
