Anyone know what your weight was of your new F350 DRW 4x4 crewcab?
I was told by the salesman that they are coming in at 7700 lbs delivered from the factory. But he had (3) with that same weight he checked for me. Seems misleading if this is a standard or has some of you had different weights, or did your invoice sheet say the same, 7700 lbs?
I like to know what yours weighed dry, then I could add my personal weights , fuel 5th wheel hitch and other stuff, to make some sense of what mine will weigh when loaded and towing 15,000 lbs of 5th wheel. I am torn. Do I change my 4.10 rear order, or go for the 4.30. Towing 10 times a year, even if I am over by 500-600 lbs GCWR, the truck and trans are the same even with 4.30's nothing has change so the 4.10's should be fine, and the fuel economy will be slightly better I think.
I understand it depends on what options are bought with the truck. Just figure mine is loaded less the navigation, power moonroof.
Your information is appreciated.

I don't have a 5th wheel yet, but soon. For me that would give me 4,200 to work with.

Hmmmm....I wonder how much my shortbed dually weighs compared to that. I was thinking I was about 7,900# ballpark guess....

Thanks to those who responded so far. I am getting convinced these new duallies are heavy suckers. If they get dry shipped at almost 7800 or more pounds, then the following will drive the weights up fast.
38 gal tank full of fuel= 304 lbs
5th wheel hitch= 125 lbs at least
me 225 lb
wife- better not post-she'll kill me if she found out
dog 25 lbs
firewood 100-150 lbs
coolers 40 lbs
a few tools camper chocks- 20 lbs
The weight can certainly add up close to 9000 lbs, who wants to be conservative when your going camping to have a good time, you want to load up with all the goodies.
oh and the RV weighs in at 14,700 almost 15,000 lbs
Combine them both and I'm talking around 23,500 or more.
Probably will be safer to run the 4.30 gears on my new truck on order.
thanks!
And keep the weights coming.

Just went across the scales today in my F-450, unloaded it was 9340 lbs. I was in it, that accounts for 192 lbs., I have a fiberglass cap and the Line-X bedliner and the tank was 3/4 full. I would guess the Line-X adds close to 100 lbs. by itself and the fiberglass cap is somewhere between 300-500 lbs.

My 250 cc long bed tipped the scales at our local land fill at 8,200 lbs. with about 1/2 tank of fuel with me in it. I got out of the truck to pay the man and he said it now weighs 8,000 (I weigh 200 lbs., so I assume his scales are pretty accurate.

Think ahead. For your birthday, your sweetheart is going to give you a WeatherGuard Model 684-5-01 All-Purpose aluminum tool chest to mount in the front of the bed. Before long you'll have it full of tools and jacks and extra fluids, etc. So count on a mininum of 9,000 pounds for the tow vehicle before you tie onto the trailer. And I suspect by the third long towing trip, you'll be scaring 9,500 pounds with the 5er hitch but no trailer.

Where did you find that info?? All it's giving me is that I have a 2008 F350 that was build at the KY truck plant and I already know that.
Thanks!!!!

These Fords are some heavy trucks. My 2004 F-250 crew cab 4x4 weighed in at 8100lbs with full fuel, my 2008 F-450 4x4 weighs 9100lbs with a full tank of fuel. Driving it though, it feels more responsive and lighter than other trucks I have driven. Did wonder how much the Line-X would add to it's weight.
