6.4 EGR valve

Driving home and had truck lose total power, smoke like im spraying for bugs, and check engine light comes on. Had diagnostic ran and code P1335 comes up. Truck has DPF and cat delete but still has all the sensors in the new exhaust pipe (was already done when i bought the truck). I bought new fuel filters and plan on having them replaced. Is this code a problem and if so what should i do about egr valve? can it be deleted?

This might help. Let us know what you find!

P1335 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Position Sensor Minimum/Maximum Stop Performance

Description: This DTC is set when the voltage of the EGR valve position sensor greater than the bottom limit threshold.
Possible Causes: Carbon buildup on EGR valve due to insufficient clean fuel, low fuel pressure, insufficient engine cooling, excessive oil in the intake air system or incorrect module calibration level.
EGR valve

Diagnostic Aids: This DTC is set when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects the EGR position sensor voltage is greater than 1.5 volts for greater than 2.5 seconds when the EGR valve is not being commanded by the PCM. Check the EGR valve for any carbon that could be holding the EGR valve open.

You valve is all clogged is my guess..or the electronics to it are bad. I vote for the valve.

If you pull it..before hand buy the housing as well. They have been know to break.
