Here is a video for the maitnance on the 6.4l. Did they get rid of the trans temp gauge and bring back the battery gauge? It shows the picture of the dash and no trans gauge. just curious.

Is it possible the manual trans vehicles don't get the trans temp gauge? Here's a picture of the dash in an auto trans vehicle:

The similar view in the part that shows how to check the hour meter clearly shows a voltmeter where the trans temp gauge should be, and the PRND321 legend isn't there.

How about existing 6.0L 6-speed trucks? Do they have a trans temp gauge or a voltmeter?

Just noticed they actually show the new HFCM drain lever in operation. Woohoo! Finally! Too bad it won't retrofit to the 6.0L HFCMs...

Hard to believe how long in normal driving they say you can go before filter changes.Then again they are trucks that get used what is normal.... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Thats a good point. I never thought of the manual when I was watching the video. The one thing I did notice is the truck at the very end was not a diesel. It had the black vent on the side. That is the gas version. The red is the diesel.
