Actual weight of a F350 CC LB

Has anyone actually weighed their 2008 F350 Crew cab, long bed, full of fuel? My 2005 Supercab LB with fuel was 7800lbs. Just curious how much more buffer I'll have when I hook up the 5th wheel.

Re: Actual weight of a F350 CC LB

Mine weighed in at the scale last week at 9160 lbs. I have a 2008 DRW F350 6.4 Lariat, 4x4, CrewCab 8 ft bed. This weight was myself(220),the wife, full fuel, sprayed in Rhino bedliner, 18K Reese 5th wheel hitch. My truck is fully loaded. Nav. system, power moonroof 4.30 rear gears, mud flaps, Ford installed. I pull a 2007, 40 Ft, OpenRoad 5th wheel. So with the rear gearing, I still have around 2000 lbs extra for bikes and firewood and much more.
My 2006 SRW lariat CrewCab 4x4, 8ft bed weighed in at 8160 lbs. Still heavy for a single rear wheel, with the same stuff installed as my new one.
Hope this gives you a better idea.

Bob

Re: Actual weight of a F350 CC LB

I wonder what the weight difference is between a long bed and my short bed dually?

Re: Actual weight of a F350 CC LB

Wow the trucks sure have gained alot of weight. My '04 CC Shortbed with an Auto, toolbox with tools (about 200lbs worth), and a full tank only weighs in at 8K lbs.

Re: Actual weight of a F350 CC LB

Had a rhino sprayed in today, and stopped by the landfill/transfer station where they weigh garbage trucks and such. I don't know how accurate it is, but they said it weighed 8380lbs with me and full tank of fuel.

Re: Actual weight of a F350 CC LB

I belive the landfill scales are pretty accurate. I had mine weighed at the landfill back in the summer. I pulled up and the guy said it weighed 8,280 pounds. I opened the door and got out and he said it now weighs 8,080 (I weigh 200) anyway, I have a rhino liner also and had about 1/2 tank of fuel.
