Has the problem been fixed for good? Or is this something thats going to happen down the road again. Im just curious as my truck is in the shop today getting a new radiator and t-stat via the 9-23-01 TSB

Well, if that TSB covers the radiator and t-stat, then, yes, I did. But it's only been about 4,000 miles since it was done. So far so good.

Just be glad that they fixed yours before the egr coolers went bad and had to raise the cab. The dealer blamed the bad thermostat for the domino effect of all problems. Have about 4000 miles on repairs and no issues.

Is this a new TSB? I thought I had them all but haven't been in to the dealer lately so I don't know. If if wasn't for this web site I wouldn't know when a new TSB came out. Ford never sends me anything in the mail and I am the original owner.

I dont think they are obligated to tell anyone about TSB's, just recalls.
