I have a 06 6 litre that has never given me one problem. I like the new trucks and the x plan and rebates make them more apealing. Are you glad you made the switch? I really love my truck , but maybe would love a new one better,lol. Please let me know how you guys really feel

You could probably move straight across on the $ depending on what you get for your truck, plus be in a new ride. Now would be the time to deal...personally I am waiting a year or so. Maybe the 09 will get even more tweaks...

I went from an 04 to an 06 to an 08. The 08 rides better and looks better to me than the olders ones the power is about the same to me. And the mileage sucks bad. Went from 9.5 towing my trailer to 6.5

I went from an 04 crew to an 08 crew. I want my 6.0 back even with the problems it was having its a better truck. The 08 rides better but thats about it. My 04 did everything else much better.

I went from an 05 to the 08 and have not regretted it at all. The 05 was a trouble free ride too, not a single issue in 40k. Mileage on the 08 could be better, other than that, hook up the camper and go..

I went from an 05 to an 08, because I was having most of the problems with mine. The only disapointing thing is that the 08 gets considerably worse fuel mileage than my 05 did pulling my trailer. I went from an 05 350 with 373 gears to the 450 with 430's. The selling point to me, on the 450 was the turning radious. I would probably like the 05 450 chassis cab better if it were not for the engine problems that I was having, and others had with the 6.0. But I can't have it all.

One other thing that tends to disapoint me is the road noise that you can here. I talked to the dealer about it and he said they where get alot of questions about it. They said since the motor was alot quieter than the 6.0 they cut back on insulation. When u ride next to the devider u can hear everything or when some inport passes u with that stupid muffler on it. Like i said take the problems away from the 6.0 and thats your truck

I went from a '04 to an '08 and I love it. The only complaint I have is the fuel economy..... other than that.... I've got sirius radio, sat nav, overhead DVD, power mirrors, black interior.... great power.... I tell everyone that my '08 is twice the truck my '04 was.

I went from the '03 and '05 to the '08 and it is the best move I made. The mileage will come in a little once it breaks in. I bought a truck and not a mini-cooper. Make the switch and dont look back....

I have an 05 right now, and im thinking about trading for an 08, and from the looks of things on the forums for the 08s and from what yall say it seems like a good idea. I wanna know if the mileage is really that bad thought? Is it gonna drive me crazy or can you fill up the tank and forget about it for a while? how long does a full tank usually last?
