boost-to-mpg

My truck now has about 7000 m iles on it. I used to get around 13mpg with mixed driving. On the average at about 80 mph it had about 15 lbs of boost i dont thind thge gauge ever got over 20 unless i was in it to win it. just recently i had a fluter in the engine on the highway and ever since the bost is way up in talking constantly around 25-30 now at 80 on the same road its about 28-30 and my mpg has gone down to about 11.5. I talked to the dealer had he said that was the bost the motor was supposed to have that. But he just dose not ghet the fact that it never was like that. Did anybody come across this?

Glamis,

I see you got the new truck. How did it do pulling your WW over the Palm Springs area on the 10? I pulled our 3505 (16k)fully loaded on prez weekend over the Cajon pass, I was surprised it was doing 55 with no problems.

Sorry for the off-subject post everyone.
