6.4L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.4L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2008 Super-Duty trucks. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Boost numbers

Just curious how much boost you are getting out of your trucks, mine maxes out at about 36psi. Mike

32-34 max. Normally stays between 15 and 25 depending on what I'm doing.

the most I got was 36-37. pulling up a severe grade with 17k behind me. didnt hold it there, backed off as recomended in the book.

I climbed 7% grade at 30,400lbs gross. At 60mph with cruise controld on, tow/haul selected, boost did not go over 30psi. Truck held speed, tranny downshifted when needed but RPM did not top 3,000 during climb.
