I believe he typo'd by leaving one letter out:

"I bRought it on Monday and they got the cab off..." Sheesh, his original post explained quite clearly how long he's had the truck, what few problems he's had, etc.

I'm confused on the cab removal time quoted from Ford: is that 6.7 hours to REMOVE the cab? Then 15 hours to remove and replace it would be about right, no? Or was that 6.7 hours the estimated time for the round trip? (And perhaps confusion on the dealer's part on that exact point is what led to the 15 hour statement?)

I've met my share of incompetent dealers, but sometimes they're just confused, not evil...

Sorry for the typo 737tdi, and thanks for the clarification frobozz. I have owned this truck since November of 2007 and currently have about 19K miles on it. I have had zero problems with this truck up until now. I guess that is the reason for the lack of posts. I do enjoy reading people's posts as there is a lot of good infomation on this web site and there are alot of $%^heads that like to say what is right or wrong. Sorry if my information is wrong on the cab off/ cab on time. I am happy to get it done right more so than having some one do a half ass job and having problems. My information is from the dealer and I did not do any research or call Ford to see what the estimated time should be. I trust my dealer and right or wrong they are the ones doing the work. Maybe I am not a diesel person since I do call it turbo boost, can you incline me on what the correct term is for the boost the turbo's make 737tdi? I have driven Ford Superduty's since 2003. I had a 2003 F-350 7.3, and now this truck. I do not have an avatar, or pictures of my truck but can post them if you need the proof.

Read back to my 1st post on the problem and it will explain what has happened and what has happened with the truck.

Thanks for the information.
