Check Engine light and spontanious engine shut off
I have read other threads about the check engine light on the 08 SD but what seperates my experience is that my engine shut off, completely going 70 MPH on the highway and then took about 10 minutes before it would start again. When it started, the check engine light stayed on and then 3 miles from where the first engine shut down occured, it occured again this time on a residential street going about 20 MPH. Truck has sat because I can't get it in for service given the holidays but I am wondering if anyone has heard of this type of situation before and if so, what the issue ended up being.
