Curb weights for 08 - Diesel Forum

I'm trying to get a handle on my actual useable payload after subtracting curb weight from GVWR for a loaded 08 F350 6.4 SRW CC 4x4 LB Lariat. I thought I saw a figure of 4100# for base model, but I wonder what payload is left after the Lariat trim equipment is added? Maybe that was published somewhere and I missed it.

Can anyone share what their 06 or 07 model curb weight is for this configuration? That might get me close.

Curb weight for your 2008 truck is 6720 with the payload being 4250. This is directly from the 2008 Ford Spec sheet.

Thanks DRDON, but I still have a question.

I have seen that max payload rating on the Ford Spec sheet but it appears to apply to the base model and equipment and is not adusted for the heavy 6.4 or the Lariat equipment. Do loaded lariat's really weight less than 7000#s? I would have guessed more like 8000?

My 04 CC long bed comes in at 7800 when I go to the dump.

page 4 shows the base curb weight of 7773 lbs. with a max payload of 3640 lbs.. This is with the 6.4, and a man. trans.. It doesn't add in the Lariat equipment or the automatic. I haven't found the documentation that shows all the individual option weights yet. It may not be out.

Oh, and Hi everybody... Been lurking here since about the time the site started, and have had a 93 idi, 96 PS, 97 PS, an 04 PS and now an 05. Thinking about an 07 or 08. Great site, lots of good info to be had.
