I was just browsing down in the van forum and read where a single gallon of unleaded gas is introduced to a diesel tank at the station that it would contaminate the diesel to where it would have quiet a bit extra sulfur. Now I don't know if this is true or not but what if you would fill your tank (as a lot do) with gas and ran the truck? Would you be inline for a new cat and particulate trap? Also what other problems might you see? This could be a warning to all who buy a 6.4 to really pay attention to what they put into the tank.

Your warning is worthless, though. All of the attentive fuel purchasers in the world can't combat a mis-labeled pump or a mis-filled holding tank.
What are you going to do, pump the first fluid ounce right into your mouth and swish it around like a wine-taster?
That zesty flavor you detect, moments before your tear ducts squirt streams and you lose consciousness, indicates contamination with premium unleaded!

Well,I don't know about that small an amount but if you filled your tank w/staight unleaded gasoline you prob. just about blow the heads off the motor.Who knows with that little bit but I'm guessing it wouldn't be good. A friend of mine had an attendant put diesel in his Hond civic and shot a rod through his hood leaving the gas station.Just thought I'd share that for a laugh!lol

One friend did it in his Cummins about 1/2 tank. 20 miles down the road KABOOM and it would not start. Had it towed to town and the fued drained and new fuel filter then everthing was fine. Another friend did it in his Powerstroke not near so much and it just ran crappy for a few days. The first one was the stations falt and the others was the driver. The gas station paid for the repairs. They were in the processs of replacing some of their pumps.
