As I understand, the answer is yes. My local dealers have verbally stated that they will accept X-Plan on new SD's (at least F250 and F350, not sure about F450). But I understand that it is ultimately each individual dealer's decision whether or not to accept it.
I believe X-Plan pricing is 0.4% under invoice, plus a $75 fee. So it usually comes out to around $70-$130 below invoice. One local salesman told me that they were selling the 08s at invoice anyway; if true, then X-Plan wouldn't make a huge difference there. But if a dealer won't budge much, the X-Plan will definitely help.

Works great. Truck is in my wife's name as we got the x number from her employer. When we went to pay for the truck they wanted proof of employment (paycheck stub) to prove it was actually her x number.

I used A-plan on my new 08 KR. Worked great for price, but they hassled us some. The dealer claimed they were audited so they wanted marriage license, and birth records. My Brother-in-law got the A-plan pin number for me. We pushed back and told them no. They shut up and went away.
